Small Green Door is a full-service interactive web design and product photography studio in Los Angeles, California. Our building is 5,000 square feet of modular, open industrial space suitable for photo-set construction, gallery showings, and creative events. We offer ample facilities for creatives of all mediums to collaborate, network, and produce great content.
Brand development begins with the story of a company and its founders. We develop a visual identity concept that exudes the story a brand wants to tell. Using expertise and years of experience, we create a vision for how the brand will be perceived.
The studio is regularly doing test shoots and experimental image-making inspired by the products we shoot. We work collaboratively to create the right imagery for a client. Small Green Door's lead photographer, Dunja Dumanski, is a part of the branding conversation and therefore has the same vision for what the brand will visually portray. The lifestyle and product photography is all executed with this vision in mind.
Our creative director and primary web designer, Leo Estevez, is current on industry trends in order to create a beautiful modern website centered around the brand's identity. We create brand-cohesive content including logos, package design, and digital content based upon a client's unique needs.
We specialize in social media content development. We maintain a brand ethos with collaborative, consistent, and engaging text and visual content. This content is optimized for the brand’s blog, website, and social media accounts. We establish a consistent, brand specific feed across major platforms.
With more than 18 years of professional photography experience and a degree from the Art Center College of Design, Dunja’s client portfolio ranges from experimental start-ups to large corporations. She has worked with highly skilled creatives in Germany, New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Dunja's work is defined by her lighting expertise.
Leo has 15 years of lead design experience, a degree from the Art Center College of Design, and a Master’s in New Media Design and Fine Art from UC Berkeley. His installations have been presented in the Munich National Opera House, the Pacific Design Center, and many galleries throughout the world. He has built a professional reputation working for brands like Oracle, Vera Wang, and Adobe. As the creative director and front end developer at Small Green Door, Leo's process is driven by experimentation and user-centered interactive design.
