When the owners of TOSSWARE contacted us for photography, we saw a startup that needed an entirely new web presence as well. After discussing what their current design lacked they asked us to redesign their visual and web presence. With a neon green logo and black website, their brand did not appeal to their target audience: high-end caterers and event planners.
TOSSWARE distinguishes itself among its competitors by using high-quality recyclable plastic. We kept the green color to focus on the recyclable element, but softened the shade and visually redesigned the brand using soft, natural-looking imagery. We took product and lifestyle photographs that executed this vision and created a website to draw in the ideal clientele.
FROM A NICHE BRAND TO A BROAD AUDIENCE
After the website redesign, TOSSWARE decided to keep working with Small Green Door for content development for a blog that would to build search presence and drive traffic to the new site. The challenge: how do we write a blog about plastic cups that people actually want to read?
After collaborative discussion, we decided cocktail recipes are a fun and interesting way to draw in the type of consumer TOSSWARE is designed for. The posts brought increased traffic to the site and native social media promotion from the liquor brands used in the cocktails. TOSSWARE went on the experience exponential growth branching from its clean, appealing website.
